Peery’s Egyptian Theater is proud to have a dedicated volunteer usher corps who donates their time and talents to help the theater realize its goal of quality entertainment experiences for our community.

Volunteer usher duties include reading tickets, tearing tickets and directing patrons to their seats. This may involve using the staircases so the ability to walk up and down stairs is required. Ushers may also be asked to meet and greet patrons, help stuff programs, distribute programs, direct patrons to various locations, and answer patron questions. Ushers are compensated for their work with an opportunity to see the production they volunteered for.

We are always seeking friendly, helpful, and responsible individuals who are looking to contribute their time.  For more information on our volunteer ushering program, please email our House Manager at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Volunteer Usher Requirements:

1. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old -- no exceptions.

2. Volunteers are asked to commit to volunteering at least 4 hours per month. We offer flexible scheduling options to make this work.

3. Our volunteer program is open to volunteers looking for an ongoing volunteer opportunity; we don't offer one-time volunteer opportunities.

hey dude,

instead of naming things edit and scaled, just put your new images in the folder and name them what it is, as it relates to the viewer of a website, not us.

ie: smoker_steam_reservoir.jpg

no caps, no spaces

new images in a separate folder

apart from the originals

looks good though.

also, you can resize on save for web output, so just work on the orig rez and then save for web, change to the dims you need and hit apply then save out the jpg.
